Benjamin Gigerl

Benjamin Gigerl starts his new role as a PhD student at the University of Graz in the research group [Sm-AI-R], where he specializes in the smart regulation of low-code development platforms for AI in organizations. With his research question "How can domain experts create high-quality AI solutions?", he focuses on exploring ways that allow non-IT experts to upskill and contribute to AI development. Benjamin holds an MSc in Business Analytics and has already presented his research findings in the field of machine learning at an IEEE conference in Singapore. Professionally, his experience as a Global Data Scientist at Siemens Energy distinguishes him, where he was responsible for the process digitalization of over 30 production sites worldwide in engineering and production.
